Jan Visser

Jan was a Paternoster artist. The following motivated what he did, he had the desire to discover the unknown, he wanted to discover beauty and wholeness. He began his career under Alfred Krenz, whose greatest message was structure and composition. His first scenes were cityscapes and suburbs. Later he moved to landscapes and nudes, this being his favourite. He was able to find structure and line in both subjects. He always looked for atmosphere in his landscapes and sensuality in his nudes. Jan died on 7 September 2009.
